Marketplace Seller Guide
Sell your Second Life products on AvatarShot with automatic delivery, reviews, and analytics.
Getting Started
- Go to avatarshot.com/my-store
- Create your store (name, category, logo, SLURL)
- Submit your SL Marketplace store URL for verification
- Once verified, add your products and publish them
Store Verification
To protect brands from impersonation, all stores must be verified before products appear in the public marketplace.
- Provide your official SL Marketplace store URL (e.g. https://marketplace.secondlife.com/stores/12345)
- We verify that your avatar name matches the store owner on the SL Marketplace
- Verification is usually completed within 24 hours
- Once verified, your products become visible to buyers
Adding Products
- Go to My Store and click + New Product
- Fill in name, description, price, category
- Upload your own product images
- Optionally add your SL Marketplace listing ID (so buyers can also buy there)
- Click Publish when ready
Important: You must upload your own images and descriptions. Products are created manually to ensure only legitimate brand owners list their items.
How Buyers Purchase
Buyers have two options:
- Buy from AvatarShot wallet: Buyers top up their wallet at an in-world terminal, then purchase with one click on the website. The item is delivered automatically in Second Life.
- Buy on SL Marketplace: If you provide your SL Marketplace listing ID, a direct link appears so buyers can purchase on the official marketplace.
In-World Vendor
You can also sell directly in Second Life using the AvatarShot MultiVendor script:
- Download the vendor script from your store dashboard
- Rez a prim in-world and add the script
- Touch the vendor and click "Admin Setup" to configure via web
- Select your store and products - the vendor updates automatically
- Customers pay the vendor and receive the product

Product Status
| Status | Meaning |
|---|---|
| Draft | Not visible to buyers. Use this while setting up. |
| Active | Visible and purchasable |
| Out of Stock | Visible but cannot be purchased |
Store Managers
Add team members to help manage your store. Go to My Store and click the Managers tab.

Redelivery
Buyers can request redelivery from their My Orders page. The delivery system will automatically send the item again.
Reviews
Only verified buyers (those who purchased and received the product) can leave reviews. Reviews include a 1-5 star rating and optional text.
Important Notes
- AvatarShot is not affiliated with Linden Lab or the Second Life Marketplace
- Only the legitimate owner of a brand can create and verify a store
- Sellers are responsible for their own product content and images
- The wallet system is a voluntary L$ deposit for web purchases
